The Federal Foreign Office is the German ministry responsible for maintaining relations with other states and with international and supranational organizations. It makes the German foreign policy, and also provides a service outlet for citizens, the German business community, those involved in German cultural life as well as members of parliament and government at all levels.
Asian Women in Co-operative Development Forum (AWCF) [it@coops]
The AWCF has established the it@coops network initiative together with it@inwent in 2004, bringing together cooperative umbrella organizations in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) [it@inwent]
The GTZ is an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. It provides viable, forward-looking solutions for political, economic, ecological and social development in a globalised world. GTZ promotes complex reforms and change processes, often working under difficult conditions. Its corporate objective is to improve people’s living conditions on a sustainable basis.
Deutsche Telekom AG [it@ab]
Deutsche Telekom AG, through T-Punkt Business in Freiburg, is the technical partner in the advanced it@ab training program "Business related IT Consultancy". T-Punkt Business manages and implements the technical training part of the course.
Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa (Fossfa) [it@foss]
Both InWEnt and FOSSFA, the Free and Open Source Foundation for Africa, promote the distribution of open source approaches in Africa. FOSSFA has developed GNOMIX, a special Linux distribution. FOSSFA cooperates with the it@ab network in train-the-trainer initiatives and Linux certifications.
National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation of France (INRIA) [it@foss]
INRIA co-organized the COSGov Conference in Vietnam (2005). Furthermore INRIA will co-organize the it@foss initiative “Supporting Vietnam to generate business out of free and open source software” in the context of the Asia-Invest II Programme (TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE) 2006 - 2007.
Tactical Technology Collective [it@ab]
The Tactical Technology Collective's aim is to advance the use of new technologies as a tactical tool for civil-society in developing and transition countries. it@ab members participated in the Africa Source2 workshop in early 2006, organized by Tactical Tech.
UNDP Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (APDIP) / International Open Source Network (IOSN) [it@foss]
InWEnt/it@foss partners with APDIP through IOSN to: (i) build capacity of FOSS advocates and trainers; and (ii) to foster sub-regional collaboration of FOSS developers, researchers and small and medium IT enterprises (SMITES) in the ASEAN region.
United Nations University, International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST) [it@foss]
UNU-IIST, located in Macao, is one of the Research and Training Centres of the United Nations University, part of the United Nations. UNU-IIST's mission is to help developing countries strengthen their education and research in computer science and their ability to produce computer software.

The Ministry of Science and Technology Vietnam partners with i@inwent through it@foss in the context of the European-Vietnam FOSS project. MOST supported the COSGov Vietnmam conference 2005.
National Information Communications Technology Development Authority (NiDA) [it@foss]
NiDA, jointly with it@inwent, provides FOSS trainings in Khmer language. The trainings are part of the Cambodian national master plan on FOSS, implemented by NiDA and the Open Forum of Cambodia.¶

newthinking communications GmbH is a German agency for social communications, with a focus on issues of the knowledge society. newthinking communications collaborates with it@inwent as knowledge partner on Internet applications and open source strategies, as well as content and website development.

ObjectWeb has supported the COSGov Vietnam Conference, and collaborates as a partner in the context of other it@foss European Union co-funded initiatives.

The Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law, a part of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science, is a world-renowned research center located in Freiburg, Germany. The web-based learning management system ILIAS is developed under the General Public Licence within an Open Source software project. Thus the software is free of charge. The project is managed at the University of Cologne, as well as main parts of the software are developed in Cologne.
Today ILIAS is used by schools, universities and for further training all around the world. The System is availabel in 16 languages. The user and developer community reaches from Norway to Argentina and Indonesia and is open to private and public contributors.
