Wireless Roadshow

The Wireless Roadshow is a capacity building workshop for practitioners, instructors, trainers, activists and entrepreneurs within the field of wireless networking and rural connectivity.
The workshop program reaches from basic to advanced level, with many practical and hands-on technical sessions.

Special focus will be given to * free / open source sofware * sustainable energy (e.g. solar power) * low cost approaches * mesh community networking.

We invite participants from Tanzania and the region, from academic, private, governmental and non-governmental organizations, with a total of 25 seats available for external participants. Please contact us via email tanzania@thewirelessroadshow.org A detailed program and a questionnaire to potential participants will be sent out to those interested, within the month of September 2007.

The workshop will be free however participants are requested to cover their own travel and accommodation. Local accommodation and catering can be offered by the organizers at a price of approximately USD 500 for the 10-days workshop. Financial support is available for a limited number of participants.
