About this CD-ROM

This CD-ROM "Compendium of Open Source Software" provides both basic information about Linux - the Open Source Operating System - as well as additional knowledge about Open Source Software and its use in business processes. To demonstrate the easy and powerfull tools of Linux, your PC can be booted from the CD-ROM using Morphix - a Linux live distribution. The complete Operating System and all available tools are just run from the CD-ROM. Thus, no files will be installed on your system. If you do not want to reboot your system, all the content can also be viewed on a standard windows platform.
